Voter Registration and Important Upcoming Elections

Who are you voting for this upcoming election cycle? I'm not asking you to think of a party or an individual candidate, but rather are you voting for....
your company's interest?
your neighbor's interest?
your church's interest?
your personal interest?
your children's or grandchildren's interest?

I ask that you keep the students of USD 331 and all students in mind as you head to the polls this summer and fall. Regardless of affiliation or beliefs, the upcoming elections will have an impact on our future.

Lastly, and most importantly....
  • Are you registered to vote? CHECK HERE. You can also view sample ballot for the upcoming primaries on this site.
  • If you are not registered to vote in the primary (to determine who the finalists will be on the ballot in November). You can do so BEFORE JULY 17thREGISTER HERE!

Several organizations have shared information about the candidates and many are focusing on the hotly contested race to become Governor.  A couple examples are:

  • KWCH hosted a Republican and Democrat Gubernatorial Forum this week, which are available on their website.

Happy Voting!

The information above is based on the original idea by Dr. Cory Gibson, Superintendent of Valley Center Public Schools.
